Liwonde National Park

Premier wildlife park engulfed around the upper shire river. Habitat of Mopane woodlands and river wetlands. Encompasses a myriad of wildlife and birding species breeding in harmony. Under management of African Parks the park has seen new wildlife populations on the rise and re introduced Lion and Cheetah. Safari lovers can experience nature at its finest in natural tented lodges and authentic game-viewing safaris. Boat across the river whilst spectating at bird shapes and strolling elephant families to antelope and big game meandering in the wooded grasslands

Mvuu Camp

Mvuu Camp Chalet

Twelve en-suite Canvas & Stone Chalets situated on the banks of the Shire river. Warmer and drier natural habitats of wetland and woodlands withing a network of river tributaries, reeds and pools of wildlife to see. On the greenery a shaded thatched restaurant serves contemporary local and western seasonal dishes, refreshing swimming pool and safari guides.

Mvuu Lodge

Eight wooden canvas tents, one of which is a romantic honeymoon suite. Walk in en-suite bathroom facilities  decked overlooking the water’s edge. Inter-leading to a dining room, pub, lounge area and a swimming pool . The new star beds are located 4kms north of the lodge and overlook the floodplains, providing excellent views for stargazing nights

Bushman Baobab

Three thatched stone chalets and seven en-suite walk in canvas tents shaded in dense savannah and baobab woodlands. A-frame tents and over-landing campsites available  Regular visits from elephants are common in this baobab covered lodge.  Splash pool, restaurant and sunsets overlooking wildlife from the raised hide game viewing deck. Boat and game drive safaris.
