A transition from the central region’s wildlife at and coastal retreats to the invigorating woodlands of indigenous pines and rubber Vizara plantations located in the peaceful and often remote rolling highlands of the north. Partake in excellent game viewing with top field guides, ride into the ocean with lady groomed horses and walk trails through one of the largest montane grasslands of a wilderness Nyika National Park. Flying in to a finale of grazing zebra herds , wildflowers and whalebacks of rolling hills within fleeting heights of serenity.

Located in the peaceful town of Mzuzu. The Italian owned and peaceful lodge grounds houses a quaint restaurant serving homemade dishes. Whilst the gardens contain several accommodation options to Tented Chalets and camping facilities. Making this a favourite stopover for overlanding and excursions to Nyika National Park.

Mzuzu – Nyika National Park.
Transfer today to Mzuzu International Airport for connecting charted flight to Nyika National Flight. Here you will board a plane and fly over the highlands into Chelinda Camp (30minutes). Here you will be welcomed and checked into your cosy chalet at Chelinda Camp.
Located high on the Nyika Plateau within Nyika National Park, Chelinda Camp overlooks a crystal-clear dam with panoramic views of rolling hills, isolated ridges and open high-altitude grasslands. Accommodation at Chelinda Camp consists of two options. There are four chalets which have two bedrooms, a bathroom, lounge, dining area with a fireplace and a small kitchen. There are also six en-suite rooms with twin beds, which share a dining, bar and lounge area complete with comfortable furnishings and an inviting fireplace for those cosy nights.

Nyika is also renowned for legendary leopard sightings and many guests have had the opportunity to observe these majestic cats thriving in their natural environment- Activities available at the camp include game drives, guided walks, mountain biking, birding, fly fishing and the popular Livingstonia Trail.
